I've never been a huge fan of Stephen King's books (though my best friend loves his work, especially the "Dark Tower" series!), I've liked his movies a bit better ("Stand by Me" was very good and "The Shawshank Redemption" is as good a movie as has ever been made), but today he won me over.
Apparently he was asked what he thought of the "Twilight" books by Stephenie Meyer and his response was that she "can't right worth a darn."
ZING!
I can almost hear thousands of of tweens crying into their journals/diaries/MySpace pages.
ps: He's also a diehard Sox fan, so he's always got that in his favor where I'm concerned.
